Icon Alliance Inc. ("Icon Alliance", "we", "us", or "our") operates the iconalliance.ca platform, including all associated services, Academy pathways, membership tiers, and the Icon Profile buildout service. Our registered address is in Ontario, Canada.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have about your information.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly: When you submit a platform application, Icon Profile intake, employer intake, or any contact form on our site, we collect the information you provide — which may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, location, professional background, and goals.

Academy and assessment data: When you complete the AI Readiness Navigator or Academy pathway activities, we collect your responses and results to route you to the right pathways and personalise your platform experience.

Membership and account data: If you join as a member, we collect information necessary to manage your membership tier, Icon Profile status, and Academy progress.

Usage data: We may collect standard web analytics data — including pages visited, time on site, referral source, and device type — through analytics tools. This data is aggregated and not used to identify individual users.

Communications: If you contact us by email or through any form, we retain those communications to respond to you and improve our services.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process your platform application and onboard you as a member
• Build and deliver your Icon Profile
• Route you to the right Academy pathways based on your assessment results and specialization
• Manage your membership tier, access, and progression
• Connect employers with consultants who match their stated needs
• Send you platform updates, pathway recommendations, and relevant communications (you can opt out at any time)
• Improve the platform, content, and services based on aggregate usage data
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising on other platforms.

4. How we share your information

With employers (consultants only, with consent): If you are a consultant member, your Icon Profile is designed to be shared with employers and clients. You control when and with whom your Icon Profile link is shared. We do not proactively distribute your contact details to employers without your knowledge.

With service providers: We use trusted third-party tools to operate the platform — including hosting, email delivery, analytics, and CRM. These providers access only the information necessary to perform their functions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Icon Alliance, our members, or the public.

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except as described above.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your membership is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request deletion of your account and data, we will action that request within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
